You can do Seishun Amigo next time! I never thought about it, but it really is a good karaoke song.
Hehe, Sharan Q's Aruiteru is cool.
In all honesty, I go to karaoke A LOT so it's not really that big a deal that I didn't do that song. I was with older friends, did mostly old stuff (I heard a lot of classic Matsuda Seiko!) and we just ran out of time.
"Seishun Amigo" is a great karaoke song. "Aruiteru" is OK but it's one of the few times I can get away with actually singing Momusu without the warning sirens going off. A few more drinks and I would have punched in "Koko ni Iruzee!" and then all bets would have been off.
p.s. Hearing someone sing "La, la, la..." in a song is one thing. Actually doing it yourself is MAD boring!
Yeah! I sang Aruiteru once when I was at karaoke with two of my friends and they started laughing at all the "na na na"s and then the "sha la la"s and tried to sing along with it. It was amusing, but I still feel like all of those were kind of lazy songwriting on Tsunku's part. You almost get tempted to just sing other parts of the chorus again.
I jump right into H!P songs none of my friends know everytime I go to karaoke, and they all kind of marvel at these songs I know and how I've got about six songs I want to sing and their numbers all ready about two minutes after getting to the place. =D
